A challenging film that adults might enjoy but one that is likely to leave younger audiences omvie. I was reminded of reading Possession, as I had a similar sense of wonderment at the complete imaginative world that the author had created for the protagonist.
As my sketch indicates, there was a golden moment at around page when it appeared that the author intended to reveal a meta-story — an explanation for why so much magic and serendipity could transpire in the life of a single individual.
