Slightly damp making for a tough smoke. As a part of building XIKAR, they have visited many countries and made many friends in the tobacco industry. Pairs nicely with fine Scotch. With the same highly rated binder and filler tobaccos being utilized as the original HC Series Habano2, the maduro version was destined for greatness. The burn was a little “wonky” as you would expect from a box-pressed Maduro. Excellent medium bodied smoke. After the overwhelming success of the HC Series Habano2, another addition to the club was inevitable. They are not a mild cigar, but have a nice flavor that even someone who smokes milder cigars would appreciate.
I enjoyed this cigar and look forward to purchasing more. These are smooth and tasty. Great cigar for the money excellent construction nice smooth finish. The cigar, unlike most other brands, is rolled perfectly most of the time. The first puffs show off the spiciness of red pepper. We live in a large duplex at the end of a cul de sac.
I naduro I like medium cigars, these are stronger than I like. I am a schmuck. CI service was, as always, impeccable. They seem to be in the same arena as Torano cigars. Love the box pressed sticks. These are ok but are inconsistent in how they burn and taste. The cigar finishes out nicely with me hallucinating. First time I tried one was in a sampler and I was very impressed, needless to say I’m a huge fan of the cigars now. Full Of Cocoa Flavor!!
HC Series – Cigars International
An amalgam of peaches and melon. My buddy said these sticks only had a couple weeks humidor time. Not alot of flavor but what’s there is good.
The cigar is smooth and nice aroma, I wish the flavor would be richer and more prevalent. I don’t like box prsed xilar to draw. I got a pack of these on an extreme sale and smoked through a few because they were so good. Could be a bit strong.
Loosely pack and draws easy, very smooth cigar. Got Two 5 Packs.
Xikar HC Series Maduro
Got this in a sampler pack. The longer they sit in the humidor the better they get.
It is oily but has more of satin look. Outstanding cigar selection, quality, and customer service.

Xikar HC Series Habano² | Cigar Review
And this is the first box press in the Xikar line. The flavor profile has changed a bit with the spiciness just about gone: This cigar simply is one of my favorites. Spicy without being overpowering, getting a bit more peppery as you smoke it to the nub and you will. Click To Browse Options. Great cigar from start to finish. Good to humidify these real good for about 4 days before indulging. Great smooth smoke for medium to tor body and smooth taste Click To Browse Options.
